Bridging AI Ambition & Enterprise Execution

AI strategy is easy. Reliable AI in production —
across compliance, legacy infrastructure, and organizational inertia —
is where most programs fail. That's the gap I close.

I Build AI That Has to Actually Work

I lead AI implementation in complex, regulated environments — where the gap between strategy and production is widest, and where failure has real consequences.

Most AI programs stall not because the models aren't capable, but because the organization isn't ready: governance gaps, legacy systems, compliance constraints, and teams that haven't been brought along. My work is closing that gap.

With 18+ years across OMERS, Citibank Canada, and Royal Bank of Scotland, I've built AI capabilities from zero — agentic systems, LLM pipelines, RAG frameworks, and enterprise AI governance — in environments where every deployment clears real risk, audit, and regulatory bars.

I work at the intersection of technical depth and business language: translating what's possible into what's approved, funded, and in production.

Agentic AI & LLM Implementation Production-grade agentic AI systems and LLM pipelines — built to clear compliance, risk, and audit requirements in regulated financial environments.
Enterprise AI Capability Building Zero-to-one AI programs: governance frameworks, team structure, vendor strategy, and multi-year roadmaps grounded in what organizations can actually trust in production.
AI Governance & C-Suite Advisory Translating technical AI decisions into board-level language — turning "we need AI" into a governed, measurable, and defensible enterprise capability.

Three Chapters. One Throughline.

Reliable outcomes in complex, regulated environments — from global financial infrastructure to enterprise AI that actually ships.

Building AI Where It Actually Has to Work

Enterprise AI doesn't fail because the models aren't good enough — it fails because the organization isn't ready. At OMERS, I built the AI capability from the ground up: governance, team structure, vendor strategy, and a multi-year roadmap grounded in what a pension fund can actually trust in production. From real-time contact centre AI to agentic document processing to C-level strategy presentations, every project cleared real compliance, risk, and operational bars. The result isn't a pilot deck — it's a live capability generating measurable savings.

Scaling What Financial Institutions Run On

Before AI, there was a decade of making financial systems trustworthy at scale. At Citi, I led architecture for a real-time Trade & Treasury platform — the kind of single source of truth that risk teams and regulators depend on. Spark/Scala pipelines, Spring Cloud microservices, OpenShift — built to survive audits and market hours. This period shaped how I think about systems that have to keep working under real operational and regulatory pressure.

The Engine Room of Global Finance

A decade spent in the parts of financial systems that most people never see — SWIFT messaging standards, treasury infrastructure across global markets, core banking for institutions like American Express. At RBS I led the SWIFT ISO 20022 migration and built a Treasury Funds platform used across markets. At Infosys I cut my teeth on enterprise Java systems that ran 24/7 with zero margin for error. This is where I learned what it actually means to build something that has to keep working — the foundation every system I've built since has relied on.
